After 20 years of repairing my own bikes, my passion led me to become a qualified bicycle mechanic, seeking a deeper understanding of every repair. The Covid pandemic provided an unexpected turn, shifting my focus from my previous career to what I truly love. I managed a service centre for a leading high street bike company in Rotorua, where a crucial idea took root: affordable repairs to get people back on the trails.

Many flock to Rotorua for its incredible free trails, but a temperamental gear shift or a broken spoke can force riders to either risk an unsafe ride or pack up and head home. Many high street stores were closed over the weekend and the ones that were open regularly didn't carry stock and so waiting for a part to be ordered and delivered just isn't an option. My mission is simple: get it repaired, and get back out there! We only replace a component when it is the only option. Maintenance is key - keep the bike clean and lubricated will ensure that your components do not wear out quickly.

For kids' bike safety checks, we stand out. These essential checks can be prohibitively expensive at many high street stores, but we keep our prices low without compromising on professionalism. Riding a bike is often a child's first taste of freedom, and we want to ensure their bike is not only safe but also enjoyable to ride, fostering a lifelong love for cycling.
